@@KanayamaTakayuki technique isn't beautiful unless your flow is great.
Musashi learned and used kenjutsu not a style. The Do is everywhere, a dancer a painter a musician. Your flow and timing are perfect here ( I know you did many takes to get the perfect one). I play your video at 0 25 speed so I can watch your feet and your body mechanics better.
I trained European historical fencing and longsword has many similar techniques . It was also a battlefield art like Kenjutsu is in Koryu.
But Kenjutsu has a very graceful part to it making it beautiful AND deadly.
I have so many hours of practice to do before my flow is as clean as yours.

I got chills from that torso strike. The one at 1:18. But still, I would recommend a slow motion replay for certain moves. Untrained eyes might find difficult to understand.

The empty mind doesn't polute the instinctive reflex that has been engraved in your muscle memory after the 10000 reps.....
Sounds easy and then you start thinking about that no thinking part....😂
I realized that only when a move is really deep in the body memory ( like when we are driving) it becomes easier to let go of thinking the moment .
It gets easier to learn if you can spar with protection and foamies as your thinking will slow you down, making you miss your window most of the time. And then you'll have those magical reactions or parry/riposte coming out of nowhere just because your instinct saw the window before you analysed it.
That's the "zone" you want to practice being into.
Works with acting, music, arts, ......and its a great meditative place to be at.
Thank you for sharing. Great lesson and content to learn from.
